Introducing the Bechstein 124 Elegance upright piano

Measuring 124cm tall the traditional style Bechstein 124 Elegance upright piano is a fabulous professional quality upright piano, a perfect choice for the home or studio.

Handmade in Germany from top quality materials including specially selected spruce from Italy's dolomites, the piano is a wonderfully resonant instrument with a versatile and powerful tone.

This example was made in c.1996 and has remains in wonderful cosmetic and techinical condition, clearly lightly used and well maintained, and worth considering as an alternative to a small grand.

An elegant, timeless design

With an elegantly styled and beautifully proportioned cabinet design, the 124 Elegance is, as the name would suggest, a wonderful furniture piece in addition to being a top quality musical instrument for practice and performance. Intricate details such as the bevelled edges of the lid and cheeks, along with its curved lines and rich polished ebony finish, make it a truly stunning instrument that can be passed down through generations of musicians.


Supreme quality and heritage

Manufactured by hand using time honoured methods, along with some assistance from modern precision cutting CNC technology, each C.Bechstein upright piano takes approximately 8 months to craft and perfect. Materials are specially selected, including soundboards of mountain spruce from the Fiemme valley in Italy's Dolomites, grown at precisely 1000 metres above sea level. The design of each C.Bechstein upright is based on that of its prestige grand pianos, so that no part of the playing or listening experience is compromised by a lack of space.


Bespoke preparation and warranty

All prestige uprights are bespoke prepared by our house technicians prior to delivery, including voicing and regulation to ensure each instrument delivers optimum performance. A five-year warranty is provided for your peace of mind.
