Introducing the Kemble Conservatoire Upright Piano
The last English piano maker, Kemble created and nurtured a piano tone that became distinctively British - warm, rich and rounded but still with a superb dynamic and tonal range.
The 124cm Conservatoire model has a sensational sonority and wonderful dynamic range, and was awarded a much-coveted "Diapason d’Or” by the French music magazine Diapason, which tested six pianos in its price range.
This example of the revered Kemble Conservatoire was produced in the UK factory in 2007, making it one of the last British built Kemble upright pianos before production was moved to Jakarta, Indonesia.
The piano is finished in the wonderful and not to mention rare Satin American Walnut veneer with brass fittings, which remains in superb overall condition.Dominic Barnett – Chamberlain Pianos
