Introducing the c.1898 Steinway Model B grand piano
At 6'11 inches long, the Steinway B grand is considered to be the perfect grand piano, finding favour with recording artists, performing musicians, teachers and amateur pianists all over the world.
This example was manufactured in c.1898 and was restored by Steinway in c.1975. A modern style B with 88 notes and three pedals including full sostenuto, it remains in excellent condition and has been serviced by our in house technical team. The keys have also been re-covered in Ivoplast, as used by Steinway on new pianos today.
The piano is also a beautiful furniture piece in a polished rosewood veneer finish with marquetry Steinway decal on the fallboard, along with a carved music desk and space legs.
