Introducing the Steinway & Sons Model Z upright piano

A very rare find - the Steinway Model Z is the most compact Steinway piano ever produced. Made by hand in the Hamburg factory in very limited numbers, this example was produced in c.1981 and remains in excellent condition.

In a modern style cabinet with 88 keys and two pedals, the piano is finished in an elegant polished ebony black lacquer with brass fittings.

It has a nice long music desk making it ideal for larger scores, while its smaller stature means it is also an excellent choice for the more discerning home pianist.

Former Beatles member John Lennon owned a Steinway Model Z, and according to legend, it was on this piano that he composed the song 'Imagine'!

Currently in preparation and due to arrive in our showroom very soon.
