What we think of the Yamaha U1 upright pianoA perennial favorite among discerning pianists, the Yamaha U1 offers outstanding musical performance, setting the standards by which many other upright pianos are measured. We have sold numerous examples of the Yamaha U1 upright piano over the years. Each instrument has been a perfect combination of outstanding engineering and attentive craftsmanship. The cabinet is elegantly assembled, featuring a two piece top lid and a soft close fall, the latter stopping the piano lid from falling on fingers! Internally the piano has a bespoke set of hammers, specifically designed for the Yamaha U1 along with a carefully assembled action using high quality and durable wood, felt and leather. Each piano is comprehensively set up here where we spend time on toning, regulation and, of course, the tuning. This means that each example delivered will not only carefully installed in your home but will be set up exactly as it should be.
This used example was manufactured in 2012 and has been little used yet well maintained since new. It is fully prepared and ready to try in our Haslemere showroom and represents superb value for money.
