Introducing the pre-owned Yamaha P121 Silent upright piano c.2008

Manufactured in the UK at the Kemble factory in Milton Keynes alongside the Kemble K121, our used Yamaha P121 is one of the last pianos manufactured here before production moved over to the Indonesian b-series factory. Featuring a solid Austrian spruce soundboard, the P121 is a refined and resonant piano with a distinctly warmer and mellower tone than the Japanese-built U1, even though the two pianos are the same size.

This piano in finished in the classic polished ebony gloss with striking chrome fittings, making it a particularly rare find and also lends the instrument a handsome, contemporary look, despite its traditionally styled cabinetry. It is also factory fitted with a Yamaha SG Silent system enabling private practice while wearing headphones, which although now several generations old, features an excellent quality piano sound, also benefitting from useful features including a USB audio recorder, 10 instrument sounds, MIDI connectivity and audio outputs. A highly capably instrument with a wonderful rich tone and responsive action, and also a useful music technology tool which can also be used for recording and composition.

The piano has had just one owner from new and has been comprehensively serviced in our workshops, and presents a superb opportunity to acquire a wonderful quality English-made upright piano with all the features required to fit seamlessly into the modern family home.

Yamaha's sophisticated non-contact sensor technology with grey-scale shutters captures the precise movements of each key, transforming each one into an accurately reproduced digital sound. Installation at the Yamaha factory

Unlike most silent systems, Yamaha's hybrid systems are installed during the manufacturing process, with the whole piano designed to accomodate the additional wiring and mechanisms. Consequently you can be sure of the highest quality performance and reliability. Nothing has been compromised!

All acoustic pianos purchased from Chamberlain Pianos are delivered by specialist piano removers. Our delivery team have transported pianos all over the world, are fully insured and can get your piano into even the tightest of spaces. Wherever you are located you can be confident that your instrument will arrive safely.

We do our best to fit around your schedules and to meet your delivery requirements, and we keep you informed every step of the way to ensure that piano delivery day is the happy event it should be!

All acoustic pianos are delivered free of charge to UK mainland ground floor locations. More complicated deliveries, including those involving flights of stairs may incur additional charges which would be agreed in advance.

Collections can be made Monday to Friday, 9:00am –5:30pm. You can collect from our showroom where there is ample car-parking available.

Select ‘Click & Collect’ as the delivery method when you reach the checkout page. Your order will be processed quickly, and we will inform you by email when it is ready for collection (usually within 24 hours, subject to stock availability). Please bring a copy of your order confirmation with you when collecting.

If your basket contains items from more than one of these categories, you will be charged a blended rate (usually equivalent to the highest individual carriage charge). Some extremely large and built-to-order products are shipped direct from the manufacturer and are subject to further surcharges (see individual product pages for more information).

Orders paid before 3pm are normally despatched the same day subject to availability. If you need something in a hurry, we can normally organise next day delivery on products we have in stock. Call us for a quote.

Couriers are contracted to deliver Monday to Friday only, with the exception of our private piano delivery team who deliver on Saturdays where applicable.
