Introducing the Yamaha Vienna Series V118 Silent upright piano c.2003
Now on display and ready for selection, the Yamaha V118 is a rare find, especially with the factory fitted Silent system.
Purchased new by its only owner in 2003, the piano is in superb condition throughout and has been used very little, particularly in recent years.
Standing at 118cm tall the V118 is a great choice of mid-size upright for the home, with handsome soft-styled traditional style cabinetry with elegant soft-close fallboard.
Built here in the UK and sharing much in common with the Yamaha U1N and Kemble K121, the V118 was designed to cater to the tastes of the European piano buyer, with a soundboard of Austrian Spruce and a more mellow voicing than most Yamaha uprights.
While now long since out of date, the factory-fitted Silent system is a useful practicing tool, facilitating private playing with headphones.
