What we think of the Yamaha P-125The new Yamaha P125 portable piano is a compact, lightweight digital piano and is new for Spring 2018. The instrument benefits from an improved, multi directional speaker system to emulate the sound field of an acoustic grand piano, with the addition of 20 rhythm backings and a clever new on board EQ to improve the tonal quality from the bottom speakers while being played on a flat surface such as a table. It is compatible with Yamaha's fabulous Smart Pianist app too, acting as a remote control for the piano while also including an intelligent tuition system to help you learn to play. It can also analyse the songs in your iTunes library to produce a basic score so you can play along with your favourite artists.
With the usual high quality Yamaha sampling and an authentic, well balanced action the new P125 portable digital piano is a great choice for the home pianist with limited space, studio or gigging musician on a tight budget.
