Introducing the Knight K10 upright piano in polished walnut c.1976
Renowned for their distinctive warm, mellow tone and robust build quality, Knight pianos were a popular choice for teachers, schools and home pianists, made here in the UK until the factory closed in the early 2000's.
This example of the K10 was manufactured in c.1976, a popular model standing at 112cm tall with its space-saving modern-style design making it ideal for the smaller home or school practice room.
A high quality instrument throughout, despite its compact size, the K10 features a soundboard made of specially selected European spruce from the same region as the Stradivarius violin, while benefitting also from a responsive action with underfelted hammers.
The instrument is finished in a lovely medium-gloss, polished walnut veneer and remains in wonderful cosmetic and technical order, freshly serviced by our technicians and ready for speedy delivery.
While a similar size to the new Yamaha b1 and Kawai K15, its mellow tone and wood veneer finish make it a compelling alternative, and one which will comfortably see an advancing pianist through their grades.
