Fazioli F228 Semi-Concert Grand Piano
At 7'4" (228 cm) in length, the Italian-made Fazioli F228 is comparable in size to the Steinway Model C and is described by Fazioli as an ideal instrument for chamber concerts.
Fazioli produces around 150 pianos a year at its factory in Sacile, north-eastern Italy, with each instrument personally inspected and signed off by Paolo Fazioli. The company combines traditional Italian craftsmanship with innovative design and carefully selected materials, resulting in instruments known for their quality and distinctive sound.
The F228 features a soundboard made from spruce sourced from the same region renowned for the tone-wood used in Stradivarius violins. Its action components are supplied by German manufacturers Renner and Abel, while gold-plated fittings, a beautifully veneered poplar inner rim and intricate pedal detailing give the piano a distinctive appearance.
The F228 is an exceptional musical instrument and an impressive centrepiece for concerts, recitals and events.
Yamaha CFIIIS Concert Grand Piano
Crafted in Japan, the CFIIIS was developed from more than five decades of Yamaha's experience building concert grand pianos.
At 9 feet (275 cm) in length, the CFIIIS is a substantial concert grand and has been chosen by leading pianists over other prestigious instruments including the Steinway Model D and Fazioli F278.
Our example was manufactured circa 2009 and is one of the final CFIIIS pianos produced before the model was succeeded by the Yamaha CFX in 2010.
With its powerful projection, broad tonal range and excellent dynamic response, the CFIIIS is well suited to concert halls, recitals and major events.
Yamaha U3 Upright Piano
The Yamaha U-series has long been a favourite among professional musicians and amateur pianists, offering a level of performance that approaches that of a small grand piano.
A versatile and dependable choice, the U3 is ideal for smaller concerts, performances, private functions and other events where a full-size grand piano is not practical.
Can I Try the Piano Before Hiring?
Absolutely. Our pianos are carefully stored and maintained at our Haslemere workshop and storage facility between concerts. Our concert technician ensures that each instrument is maintained to a high standard for outstanding performance.
Our grand pianos are kept on their legs and regularly tuned, meaning they are always available to view and try before you make your decision.
How Is the Piano Delivered?
The piano will be carefully transported by our specialist piano-moving team using professional equipment, including a piano trolley, shoe and protective cover.
Our delivery crew will position and set up the piano on the stage or in the designated performance area, ready for your event.
The hire fee includes delivery and collection for ground-floor addresses within a 30-mile radius of our Haslemere showroom, during business hours, Monday to Friday.

Single performance rental:
Fazioli F-228: £1,950 + VAT
Yamaha CFIIIS: £2,350 + VAT
Yamaha U3: £975 + VAT
Includes:
- Ground floor delivery & collection - weekdays, during normal business hours
- One tuning prior to the start of the event - post-delivery, during normal business hours
- A concert piano stool to match the piano and a padded cover
- Insurance
