Restoration

Old Steinway pianos may need restoration which is something we can arrange at Chamberlain Pianos. We work closely with two of Europe’s finest piano restoration houses, specialising in bringing tired and worn out pianos back to life. We can take care of everything from the soundboard to the wrest plank, action, frame, casework – no job is too large. On arrival in our showroom they benefit from a final setup by our in-house technicians, including action regulation, voicing, and fine tuning. Each restored Steinway & Sons piano is backed by a 5-year Chamberlain Pianos warranty covering parts and labour. 

Younger used Steinway pianos are less likely to need full reconditioning but can be serviced by our workshop technicians so that they give the quality of performance expected of such a premium instrument.
