A charming early 20th Century baby grand piano, our Waldberg Berlin was internally reconditioned some 6 years ago and is in very good technical and cosmetic order.
We have documentation to show that the pinblock (wrest plank) was replaced, with the cast iron frame regilded, with new felts, strings and tuning pins installed.
The action has been refurbished with the perishable parts such as bushings, centres and damper felts replaced, however the original ivory and ebony keyboard remains.
Our technician confirms that it tunes to concert pitch and is very stable, and the action has just been serviced too. Consequently it plays very well for an instrument of its age, and it produces a lovely warm, mellow tone, very different to that one would get from a modern Yamaha or Kawai of a similar size.
This piano is a part exchange to clear and is priced to sell, great value and available for delivery before Christmas.
