Introducing the Yamaha LP-5A pedal board for the P Series digital pianos
The LP-5A is a 3-pedal accessory for the Yamaha P-145 digital piano, and also compatible with the P-223.
The three pedals provide you with an authentic acoustic grand piano playing experience, by providing you with the same functional sustain, sostenuto and soft control found on grand pianos with half-pedalling on the sustain.
They are well-constructed, comfortable to play and easy to attach to the L-100B stand with height adjustment too, so that the pedals are appropriately supported when playing on different surfaces.
Please note: the P-145 piano and L-100B stand are sold separately.
The LP-5A is a perfect fit for my Yamaha P-145 and L-100 stand. Installation was straightforward with clear instructions from Yamaha. The feet are in a module which is adjustable relative to the foot board which runs horizontal from leg to leg. This allows the module and feet to be easily adjusted to sit firmly on the floor when the piano is in its final playing position. Pedals seem firm when playing so you don’t notice them which is good. The right pedal gives a great sustain and the left and centre affect the sound in a subtle manner. A great addition to the piano and stand.
