This action also adopts the advanced hammer-sensing and key cushioning technologies found in Kawai’s CN series instruments, delivering responsive control and quiet operation — ideal for focused home practice.

This keyboard action is paired with the rich, expressive sound of the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano, reproduced using Kawai’s Harmonic Imaging sound technology. This allows smooth transitions in tonal character from pianissimo to fortissimo, helping developing pianists learn to control expression and dynamics.
