The Nord Grand 2 is built for live performance, featuring dedicated LED faders for each layer and comprehensive real-time controls. Musicians can effortlessly create layers and splits, add effects, or transpose the instrument on the fly. Ten split points, clearly indicated by LED lights, provide flexibility, while split point crossfades ensure smooth transitions between zones with three width options for seamless blending. Six live programmes and extensive control options guarantee a dynamic performance experience.

Piano section

The piano section features two independent layers and offers a rich collection of grands, uprights, and electric pianos from the exclusive Nord Piano Library. Advanced string resonance and dynamic pedal noise add authentic acoustic characteristics, while dynamic compression and unison features enhance the overall expressiveness. Soft, mid, bright, and dyno filters, along with three keyboard touch options, allow for tailored sound creation that captures every nuance of the performance.

Sample synth section
