Introducing the Kemble Oxford upright piano in Natural Beech Satin, c.2003
Manufactured here in the UK in c.2003, our Kemble Oxford is a second generation model and comes to us from a private home in fabulous technical and cosmetic condition. Kemble pianos were built here until 2008 alongside equivalent Yamaha models, in this instance the popular Yamaha P110. With a softer, more mellow voicing than its Yamaha cousin along with a wonderful satin beech veneer finish with black accents, the traditionally styled Kemble Oxford offers the perfect mix of Japanese precision engineered components and British cabinetry and piano building heritage.
Featuring a solid spruce Strunz soundboard, produced on the German-Austrian border from white alpine spruce, the piano has a distinctly European tonal quality, and with an easy and responsive touch is equally well suited to the beginner or more advanced pianist. Standing at 110cm tall with 3 pedals including a celeste for quiet practice, it is a great choice of compact upright for the home and a handsome furniture piece to boot.
