Introducing the Kawai K-500-ATX4 Upright Piano
At 130cm tall the K-500 is considerably larger than the K-300 and K-400, with longer strings and a bigger soundboard area, affording it a richer and more resonant tonal quality. NEOTEX key surfaces, as found on the GX series grands, provide a tactile touch with plenty of grip, while the piano also benefits from Duplex Scaling to enhance the resonance of the treble section by enabling the non-speaking parts of the string to vibrate.
The first upright model made in Japan, the K-500 is an ideal choice for the advancing musician, delivering a superb combination of power, dynamic range and tonal richness to meet the musical demands of any studio or home environment.
Kawai's all new ATX4 Anytime system enables private practice via headphones and so much more, with USB, MIDI and Bluetooth connectivity. The system is now better than ever before, with improved SK-EX concert grand piano sampling and controlled wirelessly via an app for iOS and Android devices. Gone is the touchscreen panel built into the cheek block, cleverly disguising that this is no ordinary acoustic upright piano!
