Introducing the Boston GP156 Performance Edition baby grand piano c.2011
Our Boston GP156 baby grand piano comes to us in spectacular condition, presenting an unmissable opportunity to purchase a recent, privately owned Boston by Steinway grand piano at a great price.
Measuring 156cm long, the same size as the Steinway Model S, the GP156 is designed by Steinway & Sons in the USA but assembled by Kawai in Japan. This enables Steinway to produce a competitively priced, compelling alternative to a new Yamaha C1X or Kawai GX-1.
Combining Japanese precision engineering with Steinway design heritage and expertise, the Boston GP156 incorporates many unique Steinway patents, along with refined tone-enhancing design features including duplex scaling, a rock maple inner rim and a tight-grained, solid sitka spruce soundboard. A wide-tail frame design allows longer strings and a more expansive soundboard than a piano of this size would usually accommodate, enabling it to sound like a larger piano.
Remarkably refined, resonant and powerful for an instrument of its compact size, the GP156 is a great choice for the discerning home pianist and on display, ready for selection.
