Introducing the pre-owned Fazioli F228 grand piano c.2000
Measuring 228cm (7'6") in length, the handcrafted Fazioli F228 is an exceptional semi-concert grand piano, ideally suited to larger auditoriums, performance venues, and chamber music settings. Described by Fazioli as the perfect instrument for chamber music, the F228 combines impressive power with remarkable tonal refinement.
This particular example is an exceptionally rare opportunity: a concert-sized Fazioli manufactured around 2000 and privately owned from new. It remains in outstanding condition, exhibiting minimal action wear and beautifully preserved cabinetry with a lustrous finish. The piano is supplied complete with its original cover, care pack, and lock key.
Recently enhanced with new Abel hammer felts—the same specification used by Fazioli at the time of manufacture—this instrument has also undergone comprehensive servicing and preparation by one of the United Kingdom’s foremost Fazioli technicians, ensuring it performs to the highest standard.
Fazioli pianos are among the finest instruments in the world, handcrafted exclusively in Sacile, northeastern Italy, with production limited to approximately 150 pianos annually. Every detail reflects the company’s uncompromising commitment to craftsmanship, from the 24-carat gold-plated fittings to the poplar-veneered inner rim and exquisitely finished backframe.
Equipped with a Renner action and an Italian Ciresa soundboard crafted from carefully selected white Alpine spruce, the F228 delivers extraordinary resonance, projection, and tonal colour. Its responsive, perfectly balanced touch allows the pianist to communicate the finest musical nuances with confidence, making it an inspiring instrument for both professional performance and serious artistic expression.
