Introducing the Kemble Cambridge 10 upright piano c.1997
A wonderful quality British-built upright, the modern-style Kemble Cambridge 10 stands at 110cm tall, comparable to the new Yamaha b1 or Kawai K15 uprights.
As a cousin of the Yamaha P110N, the instrument combines British craftsmanship with Japanese precision engineered components and European tonewoods, for a refined playing and listening experience.
Encased in an attractive, high gloss mahogany veneer finish with brass fittings, the piano is a handsome furniture piece and although the photographs show some sun fading to only the left side of the piano, overall it remains in superb condition.
With a full length 88 note keyboard and a practice pedal, the Cambridge 10 is an ideal choice for the domestic setting or school practice room, a robust and reliable instrument certain to provide many more years of enjoyment.
It has a light and easy yet responsive action, typical for British-built Yamaha-Kemble instruments and will satisfy beginner and intermediate pianists alike. A solid Austrian spruce soundboard provides a lovely warmth and depth of tone, while remaining lively and strident.
Highly recommended and great value, the Kemble Cambridge 10 is prepared, on display and ready to compare with similar new and second hand Yamaha and Kawai upright pianos.
