The Yamaha C1 is the smallest model in the C series, but benefits from the same refined features and design as its larger counterparts. Measuring just 160cm or 5’3” long, the C1 is an excellent choice for the home, restaurant or small performance space, with refined features including duplex scaling, a solid spruce soundboard and sostenuto pedal.
This piano was made in 1999 and has had just one private owner, it’s in super condition throughout and has just been freshly serviced by our house technical team. Its cabinetry is finished in an elegant high gloss polished ebony lacquer with brass fittings and castors, with a three-position lid-prop and soft-close fallboard. There is comparatively little wear on the action and it plays responsively and with a clear, medium-bright tone, just as one would expect of a top quality second hand Yamaha C1 of this era.
With its extra string length and refinements, the C1L is a worthwhile upgrade from a new or second hand GB1K and is perfectly suited to pianists of all playing abilities.
