The Yamaha NEW B Series marks a considered refinement of one of the most widely respected upright piano ranges. Developed with input from players, teachers, technicians and piano dealers, these updated models are designed to deliver improved tonal depth, enhanced responsiveness and greater consistency in everyday use.

Each model offers a clear, well-balanced sound supported by refinements to cabinet design and soundboard construction, resulting in a more expressive and controlled playing experience.

Yamaha B10: A compact and considered introduction

The Yamaha B10 provides a space-conscious entry point to the range, with a 110cm cabinet designed for smaller environments without compromising tonal clarity.

Its focused and articulate sound makes it well suited to home use, offering a reliable and musically satisfying foundation for both new and returning players.

Yamaha B20: Increased depth and musical flexibility

The Yamaha B20 introduces a taller 116cm cabinet and a larger soundboard, resulting in greater tonal depth and a more resonant bass response.

This creates a more immersive and flexible playing experience, making it a strong choice for developing pianists and teaching environments.

Yamaha B30: A more substantial acoustic performance

The Yamaha B30 offers the most developed sound in the range. With its 121cm cabinet and extended soundboard, it delivers increased projection, enhanced sustain and a broader dynamic range.

This makes it particularly well suited to larger spaces and more advanced repertoire, where greater control and presence are required.

Modern flexibility with acoustic integrity

All NEW B Series models are available with Yamaha’s SILENT Piano™ and TransAcoustic™ systems. The B10 Silent SC3, B20 Silent SC3 and B30 Silent SC3 enable private practice through headphones while preserving the natural feel of the action.

TransAcoustic models including the B10 TransAcoustic TC3 and B20 TransAcoustic TC3 allow for adjustable volume without losing the resonance and character of the soundboard, alongside Bluetooth playback for added flexibility.
