Introducing the Rönisch 125K Upright Piano

Handcrafted in the musical city of Leipzig, Germany, the historic Rӧnisch brand is today manufactured under the stewardship of Blüthner.

The 125cm tall Rӧnisch Model 125K produces a remarkable depth of tone for a piano of its size, while longer action components over the smaller 118K enhance its responsiveness and dynamic range. Elegant traditional style cabinetry makes the piano a beautiful addition to any home.

Each piano is handcrafted from start to finish in the Blüthner factory where attention to detail is paramount. The two marques share many components and are built by the same technicians, ensuring high quality manufacture and performance.

While a similar size to the Kawai K600 they are two very different instruments and worth comparing.

Dominic Barnett – Chamberlain Pianos

One of the world's most historic piano makers

Founded in 1845 in the historic city of Dresden Saxony, Carl Rönisch began his piano building career in 1824 before opening his own factory. His philosophy was 'fine tonal quality by rock solid, durable construction' and shortly after, Rönisch pioneered the use of a cast iron frame, soon becoming a standard in piano manufacture that continues to this day.

Handcrafted in Leipzig

Nowadays, Rönisch pianos are still built by hand using traditional techniques, alongside Bluthner pianos in a modern facility in Großpösna, a suburb of Leipzig.

Specially selected hammers

Refined lambs wool hammers made by the well respected maker Abel are specially selected for Rönisch upright pianos, which have a layer of under-felt to enhance the warmth of tone and also ensure the hammers stand up to a lifetime of playing.

Beautifully set up and built to last

With Carl Ronisch's original philosophy of fine quality and solid construction in mind, Rönisch pianos are beautifully built and intended to be passed down through the generations. Each piano is prepared by our house technicians prior to sale and ready for a lifetime of service.
